Jim took a brief visit to see old friends who now live in San Diego. They're
not that old actually, but he's known them for a long time - since 1984!
We took side trips to the
Mount Palomar Observatory and the Pacific Ocean in downtown San Diego.
Below are a few shots from the observatory, which is a long ride up from the highway
- so high in fact, that we were above the clouds!
